I am a twenty-something (think early, not late) trans woman who occasionally makes art, usually in the form of games but it can be other things too (like this website!).
The main thing that interests me is games, usually video games - I've been trying to make my own in some way since I was very young; making up drawing games on paper, constructing cardboard games for friends to test, and then eventually getting my hands on the Warcraft 3 World Editor, a very formative experience.
I spent a few years studying game development in university, and then moved back to France (oh yeah I'm french by the way).

I hold a lot of opinions. A few of them I feel I don't encounter often on the internet, or at least not in the ways I would express, and most of them I would like to develop further.
Before, my main go-to was to just spew forth waves of thoughts onto
(un)
willing friends and loved ones in a very disorganized manner. It does work to get the brain going, but I don't feel like
I often end up with structured thoughts or conclusions from them, and while I enjoy those thoughts, they don't feel "solid" enough for my tastes.
So I decided that the best way to fix this issue was to
make a blog about it!
And then that led to me making a whole website because I wanted to learn HTML and CSS proper, and now hereee we are.
In terms of game opinions:

I believe that video games are at their best when they embrace 'organic' systems, and storytelling that comes from an interaction between these systems and the players.

gamesI usually prefer games that confront the player in some way. I do not abide to the idea that games are "toys" that should be "fun". Games are an art and art should be challenging.
This does not have to only mean difficulty - I respect games that demand tediousness, frustration, anger and of course fear - more than that I want art to be challenging on a political and ideological level.
